About Camp Summit
Thursday, November 4, 2010

The Mission of Camp Summit is to provide barrier-free outdoor experiences that promote personal growth and foster independence for children and adults with disabilities.
Our campers range in age from six to adulthood and may be developmentally delayed, physically challenged, dual sensory impaired (dear and blind) or have multiple disabilities. Our programming consists of 11 one-week summer camping sessions each year from May through August, one spring break session and weekend sessions in the fall and spring. Camp Summit seeks to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities by broadening their experiences and improving their social skills while increasing their capacity for independence and providing opportunities to have camp-loads of fun! Visit our website at www.campsummittx.org for additional information about our remarkable camp. Camp Summit is a 501 (c)(3) organization, accredited by the American Camp Association, licensed as a youth camp by the Texas Department of Health and a United Way Partner Agency.
